A little about me….

My name is Michelle Towles and I am teaching 5th grade Math and Science here at Independence Elementary School.  I have worked in education for the past 14 years.  I have an Associate’s degree in Management Technology, a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Education.  

I am married to my husband, Joel, and we share 4 grown children that range in ages from 29 to 19 years old, (Natalie, Byron, Dillan and Megan).  We have lived in both Oklahoma and Texas.  My son, Dillan, went to Independence “Middle” School and our youngest daughter, Megan, attended Surrey Hills “back in the day” before we moved to Texas. We are thrilled to be back home in Yukon, Oklahoma. We have 2 grand-babies; our grandson, Grayson and our granddaughter, Rylee.

I love Math, Science and Technology!!! We are having a fun year here at Independence.
